Luna spent most of her time post-Voldemort travelling the world and searching for her odd creatures. Much to her dismay, she discovers throughout that some creatures she believed to be true, to be fiction; Rowling clarified that Luna became a a wizarding naturalist, possibly a magizoologist. Although she keeps in contact with her Army firends, having Harry and Ginny give their only daughter the name "Lily Luna Potter". She married well after her friends; she met and married fellow wizarding naturalist Rolf Scamander, grandson of Newt Scamander, famous author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The pair have two boys, twins, Lorcan and Lysander
